Welcome to my new blog! If you’re a regular reader of TheaterMania, you’ll know that I write well over 100 reviews a year, and I’m very good at sneaking my opinions on all manner of non-theatrical subjects into them. For this I must thank my magnificently patient editors, Pete Hempstead and David Gordon.

But I want this to be a place where I can write about things that fascinate me, without the occasionally flimsy springboard of a currently running show in New York. You can expect entries on television, books, current events, New York, Malta, and the subtle society of the gym—to name a few of my passions.

I hope you’ll check back frequently, as I plan to regularly update. I always seem to have an opinion about something, so I might as well record them here.
